Le Blog de Petite Ayako : Book Hunting in Daikanyama

[En]　I like the overall air of coolness in Daikanyama neighborhood. My New Yorker friend told me that the closest comparison in NYC would be the West Village. It's sophisticated yet cozy. There is also one of my favourite places in Tokyo in this area, called Daikanyama T-Site, opened a few years ago ; It's a complex of a bookstore, cafes and restaurants etc, delicately curated and designed. Its bookstore, called Tsutaya, has a fantastic collection of books on travel, art and design. Just look at these three stylishly interlinked buildings. Have you noticed these interlocking t-shapes on the façade which subtly reference the logo of Tsutaya brand ?

[Jp]　代官山のクールな雰囲気っていいですよね。洗練されているのにこぢんまりしているし。代官山Tサイトに時々行くのですが、旅や芸術、デザイン、料理関係の本が揃っていて、見ているだけでワクワクしてしまいます。外壁のデザインはTSUTAYAの頭文字のTになっているんですね！そこにいるだけでおしゃれ感度が上がりそうな空間です。

[Fr]　J'aime l'ambiance cool de Daikanyama, qui est comme le Marais à Paris. C'est un quartier sophistiqué, mais au même temps cozy. Il se trouve l'un de mes endroits préférés de Tokyo ici, qui s'appelle Daikanyama T-Site ; c'est un complexe d'une énorme librairie, des cafés et des restaurants stylés etc, qui est ouvert il y a trois ans. La librairie Tsutaya a une collection très riche des livres d'arts et de design, ce qui me rend contente. Regardez ses trois batîments délicatement connectés entre eux. Avez-vous remarqué que ces Ts qui forment la façade impliquent subtilement le nom de l'entreprise (Tsutaya) ?
